Let’s start with what it is…
Because most people don’t know!
Occupational therapy (OT) addresses the variety of problems that comes from physical challenges.
Weakness of the arms or hands is one of the most common problems. When you have trouble with strength and dexterity, you can have trouble with many activities of daily living (ADLs): dressing, bathing, self-care, grooming, bed mobility, balance in sitting or standing, getting up from a chair/toilet/bed, or even preparing a simple meal for yourself are all examples.
We can work on any of these issues together.
Anything that will help you live better is game on for OT!
If you’ve had an injury, we can help you heal it.
If you’ve had a fall, we can help you strengthen specific areas of the body with a special focus on the upper body.
And if you’re afraid of falling as you dress or reach for items, we’ll give you the support you need to feel confident and overcome your fears.
There are so many things we can do…
We can analyze your home to ensure it’s safe and organized in a way that helps you remain independent.
We’ll assess your short-term and long-term needs, giving suggestions to modify your routine or living space so that you can solve daily problems.
Sometimes another pair of eyes and hands is all you need for the right solution!
Life will throw you curve balls.
OT helps you overcome them.
We’re here to help you become as independent as possible in the safest and most effective way.
Where there’s a will, there’s a way!
We’re here for you. Let’s do this… together. Call or text today for your free consultation: (786) 253-8818 or (954) 405-4865.
